About Lost Buoys Posters

This is a private collection of Jesse Hutchins (Toronto, Canada) featuring all original vintage posters from Europe and North America.

Originally intended to promote and inform, these posters are pieces of film history. They were handled by long gone projectionists, ushers and theatre owners and gazed upon by countless couples picking their date night entertainment.

You can see the history in the tears, fold marks, tape remnants and pinholes. Some are pristine and most retain the incredibly vibrant colours of vintage printing techniques and inks. They are fragile fibrous artifacts exhumed from forgotten, dusty basement corners, begging to been seen again.
